Catching the Road Runners

Caught up with road runners Josh and Lindsay in Portland today. We had lunch at the Loading Dock Grill of Edgefield, one of the McMenamin brands we studied at the 2005 Triple-B Portland. They’ve got a fantastic blog of their travels across the U.S. of A. It was cool to see that Edgefield continues to modify and improve their property. Since we were here last, two years ago, they’ve switched the front 9 and the back 9 of their championship caliber pitch-n-putt-distance golf course, and eliminated one of the holes in making room for an outdoor concert amphitheater. We were also intrigued by the pinecones the size of small television sets being dropped by the evergreens. An amazing pool room has been added, and a spa with massages rounds out the new amenities.
