EverythingCU welcomes 6,000th member

EverythingCU.com welcomed its 6,000th credit union professional today at 11:54 am Eastern Daylight Time. It’s fitting that the 6,000th member is a Junior Marketing Assistant from Wisconsin, who was referred to EverythingCU.com by her boss, a longtime EverythingCU.com member. We’re excited to reach this milestone in the evolution of the credit union online community that is EverythingCU.com.

We are honored to be the facilitators of this amazing community. It’s certainly been much more than I ever expected when starting out on this crazy adventure in 2001. It’s truly a privilege to serve and foster the dedicated professionals who serve their credit unions and membership. I’m honored to have met, and get to continue to work with, such fabulous people who are making a difference, and the team which is making the resource hum here at EverythingCU.com headquarters.

Success is an earned accolade. The 6,000 members mark is a milestone that could have only been reached as a result of a good product, hard work, and continuous improvement. Congratulations on an amazing accomplishment!

  3. Andy Says:

Congats Morriss, and to the whole Everything CU team on this milestone. You guys have built an incredible resource for collaboration in the credit union movement.

  4. Ginny Brady Says:

Congratulations on the milestone, Morriss. We are 6000 lucky cu advocates to have Everything CU available to us.

  5. Gene Blishen Says:

Good news, you now have more than 3 times the number of members than Mt. Lehman Credit Union and are always open.

  6. Mark Vautour Says:

Congratulations Morriss and the whole EverythingCu team. Quite an accomplishment. Many wishes for continued success in the future.

  7. Morriss Partee Says:

@Jeff, Matt, Andy, Ginny, Gene, and Mark: Thank you for the kind words. Aww, shucks, I feel my cheeks turning red. 🙂

But seriously, while we do work very hard, it’s kind words like yours that fire us up to keep innovating our offerings. Also, I shared your kind words around the EverythingCU office.

  8. Kent Sugg Says:

    Congrats Morriss!!!

I wish I would have known, I would have waited a few more weeks to join. J/K In the few weeks I have been a member, I can certainly see the value that it brings to the CU community.

  9. Morriss Partee Says:

Kent, thank you for the nice words.

And also, I know that you are saying “j/k”, but I totally hear you on that. There is a grain of truth there! I have not celebrated previous membership milestones for exactly that reason. It’s our existing members that make the community great. Members 5998, 5999, and 6001 are just as valued as member 6000. And members with even lower numbers are much more valued since they have made more contribution to the community. We should really be taking this opportunity to thank the current members, so I hope I’ve done that. I much prefer to think of members as people anyway, and not assign numbers! But everyone needs a reason to celebrate, so we might as well do that at this juncture. Plus, people at credit unions can relate to membership numbers. It is startling to think that we have more members than a lot of credit unions. I never thought that would happen.

Hope to see you participating more in this resource built for you! And please tell your colleagues at your CU, and other CUs, about it.
