Word-of-Mouth workshop in Indianapolis

As the credit union world turns its attention to DC this week for CUNA’s Government Affairs Conference, I can’t help but be excited for the week of March 5 when i will be visiting new and old credit union friends in Michigan and in Indiana. In Michigan, I will be attending the Michigan CU League’s Marketing Conference, which was a seminal event in EverythingCU.com’s history when I attended in 2003. It was at that meeting that I met speaker extraordinaire Rory Rowland, and that encounter led to EverythingCU.com offering webinars, which has been well-received by our customers ever since.

Right after Michigan, it’s off to Indianapolis, home of the Super Bowl Champion Colts to deliver a workshop on Word-of-Mouth marketing and social media for our friends in Indiana. Okay, okay, I can be happy for Peyton Manning (finally) winning the big game. Hey, Tom Brady did it three times in four years, so it’s only right that someone else gets to hoist the hardware for a change. I can’t wait to meet new friends and reconnect with old ones alike! I’m especially looking forward to hooking up with Exalted Gnomes Kelly Turner, Michelle Payne, and Ross Graham from Eli Lilly FCU. We had such a great time with them in Baltimore at the Triple-B event last fall, including the infamous phone call to their credit union that Matt Taggart made as part of his presentation. I will also get to meet Kelly, Michelle, and Ross’ boss, Jan Chronic. Thanks, Jan, for letting your folks come play, errrrrrrrrr, learn with us! There will be many other long-time EverythingCU.com site members of the Indianan persuasion that I will get to meet for the first time! I can’t wait!
